Rebates & Referrals
If you're eligible for Medicare's Better Access initiative, you can access up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year (1 January to 31 December) with a rebate that reduces your out-of-pocket cost. This requires a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from a GP.
For more details on how this works, including eligibility and the referral process, check out my blog post here.
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for rebates on psychology sessions—please check your policy details directly with your provider, as coverage varies.

Policies
To respect everyone's time—including yours and others waiting for appointments—I require at least 24 business hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a $150 fee. Please note: This fee is not eligible for Medicare or private health rebates.
Please note: I do not provide care for severe, acute issues that need immediate higher-level support, such as active psychosis, high suicide risk requiring crisis intervention, or forensic-related matters. In those cases, inpatient services, crisis teams, or specialised acute care are more appropriate. If this sounds like your current needs, your GP or a local mental health service can help connect you to the right support.
Therapy works best when there's a genuine sense of connection and alignment. If after the first couple of sessions it doesn't feel like the right match—for you or for me—I'll discuss it openly and support you in finding a better-suited therapist. You're always welcome to do the same; your comfort and progress are the priority.
